The School of Art is pleased to present two visiting artists this week. As part of our visiting artist program, and made possible by the Jim and Jane Dew Visiting Artist Fund, we welcome Maggy Rozycki Hiltner and Erica Spitzer Rasmussen. Both artists will talk at 5:10pm on Thursday, March 14 in Social Science room 356. A reception will follow in the Gallery of Visual Arts on the first floor of the Social Science building. These events are free and open to the public due to the generous support offered by the Jim and Jane Dew Visiting Artist Fund.
Join us for a Celebrity Art Tour of the Montana Museum of Art & Culture galleries. Laura Alvarez, UM Associate Professor of Theatre & Dance will host a conversation on Thursday, March 14th, at 5:10-6:00pm; in the PARTV Center lobby for a tour of Follow That Thread: Fashion and Textiles from the MMAC Permanent Collection. This event is free and open to the public. UPDATE (3.14.13) Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Celebrity Artist tour scheduled for today with Laura Alvarez has been cancelled. MMAC apologizes for any inconvenience.
