Art major Padyn Humble invites you to a drawing show hosted by Over Medium Collective. Come see the work of your fellow community members! This is a drawing show looking to represent the many interpretations of drawing. Come have a beer and chat and see what else we might have in store for you! There will be prizes for some of the work, and prizes voted by !!you!! the audience member.
Awards start at 6:30! Padyn’s love den is located at 708 S. 6th St. W in the alley between Walnut and Hickory.
FrontierSpace will host its Fourth Annual Benefit Auction on Friday, October 6, from 5-9pm in the alley behind the Old Post Pub. This is their major fundraiser for the gallery with all proceeds used to advance and continue the essential work FrontierSpace performs in the Missoula community.
Bidding will take place between 5pm and 8pm.
Our friends at MAM invite you to their latest First Friday offering, “Rez Made: Photographs from Two Eagle River School Students”. Rez Made is a group exhibition featuring 14 student-photographers from Two Eagle River School on the Flathead Indian Reservation in Pablo. The exhibition documents the spring of 2016, when photographer, educator, and mentor David Spear led the group of students to New York City. Enjoy live music by KBGA, light refreshments, and a gallery talk at 7 PM.
The folks over at Radius are hosting a reception for their group exhibition titled Mind Fields. The exhibition features the work of eight tremendously talented artists working in a variety of mediums—ink, paint, metal, wood, ceramic, found objects and more. Join them and artists Courtney Blazon, Joe Boddy, Susan R. Carlson, Pamela Caughey, Michael deMeng, Theo Ellsworth, Lauren Gallaspy, Philip Slagter from 6-8 pm.
